Village festivals are frequent and other country wide celebrations include a strong fall line up. 

St. George’s Caye Day and Independence celebrations are in September, Columbus day in October, and in November there is Garifuna Settlement Day and the National Festival of Arts. 

Celebrations aren’t the only time you can find nightlife or excitement in Belize though. 

Many restaurants and bars provide entertainment including bands playing country and rock music, as well as local “Punta” music.  Punta music is a unique drumming music that gives out a Caribbean vibe.
